Opening your relationship - a weekendcourse to find out what you want

What joys can opening up your relationship bring, and what challenges might you face? 

What tools can help make this learning process smoother and clearer? Perhaps you're just starting and looking for guidance and possible scenarios. Maybe you want to explore whether this relationship style is right for you. Or you’re already in an open relationship, but things aren’t going as smoothly as you'd hoped. Conversations fee strained, introducing a new relationship shakes the foundations, or you’re losing yourself in your own needs, boundaries, jealousy, and desires.  

This course unfolds the essentials of non-monogamy. To make these relationship styles thrive, relational skills, communication techniques, and practical knowledge are crucial. We provide you with these tools and information and encourage you to practice them, so you can make choices that work for you.  

What does the course offer? 

-Information about different forms of non-monogamy, including their pros and cons, compared to perspectives and experiences within monogamy.

 -Tools to make changes in your relationship easier, such as conversation techniques and reflection exercises. 

- Insights into potential pitfalls or blind spots, along with strategies to address them. 

- Scenarios with practical tools to help you navigate difficult conversations. 

- Practical information about how the ethical non-monogamous community works, including opportunities to meet others, consent, and safe sex practices. 

- A network of like-minded people to share your experiences with. 

 What isn’t this course?

 It is not relationship therapy. People will share their experiences, but the group does not focus on deep therapeutic work on past patterns within participating couples. 

It is not individual therapy.

 It is not a step-by-step guide to being unfaithful.  

Who is welcome? 

You’re welcome to join alone, with a partner, or with multiple partners.  

Whether you identify as monogamous, polyamorous, solo-poly, relationship anarchist, or anything else.this space is open to all types of love, orientations, and genders. We’ll journey together over a weekend, on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May 2025, from 10:00 to 17:15. To help you process all the information afterward, you’ll receive a "task schedule" to continue working on in the weeks that follow.
