During this public talk, CNRS research professor Vincent Tournat will introduce the fascinating world of acoustics through engaging demonstrations and experiments inspired by the famous opera singer Bianca Castafiore from Tintin. At the end, you will have an answer to the question: "Can Bianca Castafiore really break a glass with her voice?"
This event is organized as part of an international acoustics symposium taking place in Leuven, and is open to everyone who is curious about the science of sound.
